Spirit Rock Painting: How It Works, Where To Start & Pricing
Share
If you’ve driven past a local school and noticed a giant rock painted with a student’s name, birthday message, team colors, or school spirit design, you may have wondered:
What is up with those painted rocks in front of schools?

Those are usually called Spirit Rocks, and they have become a fun tradition for families, students, teachers, teams, and school communities.
A spirit rock is a large rock near the front of a school that families can reserve and decorate for special occasions.
At Rachel’s Crafty Corner, Rachel offers custom spirit rock painting for local families in Statesville, Troutman, Mooresville, and nearby Iredell County school communities.

What Is a School Spirit Rock?
A school spirit rock is a large outdoor rock that is used as a rotating celebration space. Families usually reserve the rock through the school or PTO, then decorate it for a specific day or event.
Some families paint the rock themselves, but many prefer to have someone paint it for them, especially when they want a cleaner design, brighter colors, detailed lettering, or just do not have the time to do it themselves.
That is where Rachel’s Crafty Corner can help.
